Project Description

Cheryl Jackson

Cheryl Jackson is a Partner with Coffey, Senger & Woodard. She represents clients in general civil litigation matters, with a special emphasis on construction and real estate law, transportation compliance, and insurance defense. Ms. Jackson also has experience with employment matters, collection actions, liens and foreclosures, family law, and negotiating and drafting business contracts. Before joining the firm, she served as in-house general counsel for a regional trucking company that specializes in hauling “frac sand” for oil and gas operations. Ms. Jackson is admitted to practice in Oklahoma State Courts and U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma.

Ms. Jackson is a native Oklahoman. Although she is a bona fide “Okie from Muskogee,” she loves her adopted home of Tulsa. A summa cum laude graduate from Northeastern State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, she went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2009. She sat for the bar exam and was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar that same year.

Since entering the profession, Ms. Jackson has spent her career assisting real estate and construction clients with lien enforcement, construction defect claims and general business representation, including litigation and transaction matters. In addition to her work with real estate and construction clients, Ms. Jackson has represented a diverse portfolio of business clients in matters involving contract disputes, employment law issues, medical malpractice defense, reviewing handbooks, policies and other compliance measures, non-compete and non-solicitation covenants and business transactions. She has also represented individuals in divorce proceedings, child custody and child support modifications, and adoption and guardianship petitions.

Ms. Jackson is married and has three sons and one daughter in law. In her free time, she enjoys gathering with family and friends, cycling, running and walking on the River Parks trails, watching lacrosse and football, traveling, hiking and scuba diving.
